Building on my previous two posts about what program scaling up means, a key part of the discussion was also about identifying who is best suited to drive this process. So, here is part (3) and the final one from my reflections on program scaling, hoping it will offer some insights and encourage more discussions on this matter.
(Part 3)
Scaling programs effectively requires the right mindset, skills, and experience. Those who excel at it see both the bigger picture and the finer details, balancing vision with adaptability. They form strategic partnerships, stay flexible in different contexts, and build structures for long-term impact.
What sets them apart is their ability to connect people and ideas. They consult, listen, and collaborate while ensuring decisions are grounded in data. Their empathy helps them understand community needs, while their analytical mindset ensures programs grow in ways that are both practical and impactful.
