I could not help but join the conversation about the frustrations that many job seekers are sharing repeatedly on LinkedIn. As the year comes to an end, I invite you to reflect on recruitment and application processes and practices. Job-related networking, submitting applications, preparing tenders, or participating in interviews requires significant time and effort from the part of the job seeker, and when these efforts are met with prolonged silence, sudden cancellations, or delayed responses, it can leave applicants feeling frustrated and their time wasted. Practices such as unnecessarily complicated application steps or not being clear about the job’s expectations and salary can add to this frustration.

Striving for efficient, transparent and respectful engagement demonstrates professionalism and builds a positive reputation for organizations.

Make your organization stand out, please!
